Installer experience and desktop icons

Overwolf has designed a seamless installation experience saving you the time and effort of developing a separate installer for your app. The installer experience begins once users have downloaded and started to install your app. If the Overwolf native client is already installed on the user's machine, then the app will install right away. If the Overwolf native client is not already on the user's machine, the client will be installed along with the app.

After the installation is complete, the user will have new desktop icons for your app, and clicking it will open your app in Desktop mode. For more information, see Desktop mode.
