All applications
The All applications page allows you to view the applications that you have authorization to manage. Enter part of a complete application name to see the list of applications. Select (press) an application to enter the other console screens. These include screens in the following sections:
Settings
The Settings tab allows you manage your developer console settings.
Profile
The Profile tab provides access to manage your profile. You can generate or revoke an API key using the Revoke and get a new key button. Once you have generated a new key, use the Copy key button to copy it to your clipboard.
Users and permissions
The Users and permissions tab allows you to manage who has access to your developers console. Use the search bar to search for a user by email. Use the filter by partners dropdown to filter the list based on the partner name. The hierarchy and relations between Partners, Users, and Apps is:
- A Partner represents a team or company.
- A User can be part of many Partners (teams), and a Partner can contain many users.
- A Partner can own many apps, but an app can be owned by only one Partner.
- A User can be part of, or own many apps, and an app can contain many users.
Partners can only be added by the DevRel team. Contact your DevRel for more details.
The Users and permissions table shows the list of user that have access to apps that are associated with your developers console. Using this page you can add a new user to the developers console, or manage user access. The table contains the following columns:
- User email.
- Partner.
- Status.
- Manage button.
Adding new users
To add a new user:
- Press Add new user
- Enter the user's email and select a partner from the dropdown.
- Press Add an app to add the user to one or more apps.
- Select an one or more apps from the dropdown.
- Select the role for the user. The list of permissions for the role will update automatically based on your selection. (default: Member)
- Press Apply when complete.
- Press Add user when complete.
Managing users
To manage user access:
- Press Manage on the user row of the user you want to manage. The App permissions table will be shown. The table contains the following columns:
- App name.
- User roles.
- Remove app button.
- Manage button.
- In the App permissions list, press Manage on the app you want to change.
- In the next screen select / deselect the roles for the app, then press Apply.
- To remove the app from the user, press Remove app in the App permissions list.
